Bulgarian 4-year-old malt whisky, produced from 100% malted barley. Distilled and matured for 3 years in charred Bulgarian oak casks, then finished for an additional 12 months in a 225-liter Bulgarian oak barrel that previously held a natural jujube liqueur – HINAPSKA.

Our Legacy whisky is the successor to our natural jujube liqueur, precisely because of the final maturation in the barrel that previously aged the natural jujube liqueur – HINAPSKA.

The liqueur has a multi-layered rich flavor and taste. The jujube flavor is intertwined with notes of cognac, obtained from the aging in selected Bulgarian oak barrels.

A very special and extremely rare version of the Jujube Liqueur. In other words, if our Jujube Liqueur is the best, then “Zen” is the best of the best. Initially it was intended to be mainly to participate in exhibitions, yet now it represents 20% of each newly manufactured batch. Being for exhibitions allows the customers to taste it and compare the “Zen” with our original Jujube Liqueur.

The customer’s feedback is that the “Zen” liqueur is distinguished by very specific fresh, exotic and peppery notes. The reviews are that if the classic Jujube liqueur is consumed slowly, then the “Zen” version is to be consumed even more slowly.
