Our jujube fruits have been cultivated for more than 15 years in the village of Glozhene, Lovech region, at the foot of the Glozhene Monastery “St. George the Victorious.” The jujube (Ziziphus jujuba) is considered a superfruit and contains up to 20 times more Vitamin C than citrus fruits such as lemons and oranges, which is why it is also known as the King of Vitamin C. Jujube fruits are rich in iron, which is why they are also called the Iron Jujube. In addition, the fruits of the jujube (Ziziphus jujuba) contain B-group vitamins, amino acids, fiber, and many other beneficial micronutrients. Consuming jujube fruits can be highly beneficial for human health—helping with insomnia, reducing stress and anxiety, regulating blood pressure, and more.
Fresh jujube fruits are picked and delivered to customers on the day of harvest or, at the latest, the following day. This way, every customer receives fruit that is as fresh and pure as possible. It is recommended to store the fruit in a refrigerator to keep it fresh for as long as possible.
