Bulgarian 5-year-old malt whisky produced from 100% malted barley. Distilled and matured for four years in charred Bulgarian oak casks, then finished for a minimum of 12 months in a 225-litre Bulgarian oak cask previously used to mature our natural jujube liqueur, HINAPSKA.
Our Legacy whisky is the successor to our natural jujube liqueur, as its final maturation takes place in the very cask in which HINAPSKA Natural Jujube Liqueur was previously aged.

Aroma:
The distinctive character of the jujube liqueur is noticeable from the very first sip and lingers as a pleasant, smooth finish.
Taste:
The whisky has a rich, full-bodied flavour that successfully combines the characteristics of both maturation stages. The familiar taste and aroma of whisky are complemented by the flavour and fragrance of the jujube liqueur.
The jujube liqueur does not overpower the whisky. Instead, it is clearly expressed, allowing the two profiles to create a memorable harmony of flavour and aroma resulting from the two maturation processes.

The successor to our 4-year-old whisky is now the 5-year-old malt whisky, The Legacy. It represents another interpretation of HINAPSKA’s Triple Single concept:

The Legacy is the name of our whisky because it embodies the heritage of our jujube liqueur. The whisky is finished in a single cask previously used to mature HINAPSKA Jujube Liqueur.
As with our jujube liqueur, every bottle of our whisky is handcrafted. We apply uncompromising quality control and pay close attention to every detail, including the precise placement of each of the four labels and the sealing of every bottle.

Our goal is to produce an exclusive, limited-edition boutique product. For this reason, the current single-cask batch of 5-year-old whisky is limited to a maximum of 313 bottles.
